At the time of this post and due to the hard work of everyone working on the Mozilla platform, there are only three platform beta blocking bugs remaining<\/a> (all with patches)! I know the recent tree lock-down has been difficult, but we’re back to closing more blockers<\/a> than non-blockers<\/a>. Now that we’re down to this few bugs blocking beta on the platform, I think we should take a moment to ponder the fact that we’re very close to shipping the first beta of Firefox 3.<\/p>\n

Everyone working on the Mozilla platform should pat themselves on the back. All your efforts to wipe out memory leaks<\/a>, plug security holes, improve performance<\/a>, and squash blockers like mad have had a significant impact on the platform, enabling us to ship this beta.<\/p>\n
