At the time of this post and due to the hard work of everyone working on the Mozilla platform, there are only three platform beta blocking bugs remaining (all with patches)! I know the recent tree lock-down has been difficult, but we’re back to closing more blockers than non-blockers. Now that we’re down to this few bugs blocking beta on the platform, I think we should take a moment to ponder the fact that we’re very close to shipping the first beta of Firefox 3.
Everyone working on the Mozilla platform should pat themselves on the back. All your efforts to wipe out memory leaks, plug security holes, improve performance, and squash blockers like mad have had a significant impact on the platform, enabling us to ship this beta.
Righteous.
